MYCAREVENT – Mobility and Collaborative Work in European Vehicle Emergency Networks – deals with new technologies, applications and services for the automotive aftermarket. Key area of MYCAREVENT is the mobile service world.
This 3-year research project financed by the IST (Information Society Technology) program of the European Commission within the Sixth Framework Program unites leading industry partners of the automotive sector and researchers, focussing on service development, process and organization management, e-business, communication networks as well as human-computer interaction.
MYCAREVENT generates new business models and creates win-win-situations for all market participants. It provides innovative services for drivers by focusing customer satisfaction and quality improvement.
MYCAREVENT will support value creation by utilizing the potentials of mobile devices and the interoperable use of a service portal.
Key area of the project is the mobile service world. The introduction of innovative mobile applications enables new ways of working and collaboration among drivers, car manufacturers, automotive technicians in franchised as well as independent workshops and breakdown services.
